Mosquito Carbon Fibre / Nano Tech Drop 38 Deck. As we all know the Carbon Fibre / Nano Tech Mosquito Carver has been a smash hit, well things have become even more exciting. Steve Hopper and his loyal crew have developed this deck one stage further and what a mind blowing result!!
So what has happened? Well firstly this new version now has a ½” drop to the deck with the nose and tail receiving a performance orientated 2 degree down turn or de-wedge as many riders understand.
That all sounds impressive but what does this mean and how does this translate into great value for money?
The original Mosquito is a pure carver board but that means many; speed freaks and hardcore free riders would have to compromise with over tight trucks at higher speeds. For all round carving and hardcore urban cruising you are advised to purchase the ORIGINAL Carbon Fibre and Nano Tech Mosquito.
For extreme “Free Riding” and “High Speed” then the NEW Mosquito 38 Drop should be your weapon of choice. Also for lighter riders say under 180Ibs this latest version makes for an amazing downhill race deck!! As debut at Maryhill Festival of Speed September 2009.
